Just got some dried silene capensis chewed some as soon as I got it, then soaked a small piece in water overnight and tried to get the foam, but to no avail.. did have a cool dream last night, but nothing out of the ordinary.

I would not balk at "spiritual weight loss" we are on outside, what is going on in the inside.

Kaw, thanks for sharing this. I've never gotten my hands on the African Dream Root, not yet at least. It has come highly recommended to me by other "explorers", if you will, so I appreciate this explanation of how to prepare it. From what I've seen, it's quite an expensive plant to get a hold of, but at some point I plan to use it, and will definitely share my experience with you here.

Hi to all.
First , as Jonathan say it is expensive but you have to use very small quantity, about 250mg to 400mg (if you use in the right way, or you have to use 500 to 600 if you want to be fast but a little less effective....
So...
Like the African Shaman, I use Silene Capensis by producing a foam.
I put 350mg of Silene in 400ml of water , in a glass jug(for water) and with a manual whisk I create the foam...
(I use the whisk like to burn a fire with two wood)
It form much foam, let the foam for a little to "stay", and then "enjoy" :)..
Repeat the process , until no much foam come out, and then if your stomach can, drink the mixture, or let for the night before go to dream....

P.s. you have to take on an empty stomach, in the morning, or if you do not have time before go to dream....

P.S. There is the choose to take Silene simply in the water and drink her... but as i write before you have to use little much Silene to take effect...

But.... enjoy the foam until you "buuurp" ....

I have used African Dream Root, and you have to take her on a daily basis for about 1 week and up , depend on how you are sensible to the plant and to the dream state....

For me she helped to have "revealing dream" not to much Lucid or colorfool but realy understanding dream about myself, she help to uncover many dream and make it moore easy to understand....

She one day helped me to go out from a spiritual school, beacuse in a dream she showed me what the man of the school do on my chakra, but initialy he was masked as my father, and the the plant remeber me "truth" and I see the man of the school that left his covering... I love African dream Root...

I love Silene capensis....

P.s. wonderfol site Ben....

Yes, you are right. I often wonder about it. Just a few blogs. As it has been said in "Waking Life", that dreaming is out of fashion...
