Galouye. I'd recommend checking out Fassbinder's "Welt am Draht" (World on a wire) instead; released in 1973. For other films dealing with dreams, I'd advise watching Wojciech Jerzy Has' 'The Hour-Glass Sanatorium' and 'The Saragossa manuscript', Sergei Parajanov's 'Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors', Jaromil Jireš' "Valerie and her week of wonders", Walerian Borowczyk's "La bête", Jaques Rivette's "Céline et Julie vont en bateau" + most of Guy Maddin and Luis Buñuel's films.
